It took me 28 years to learn that I was a highly sensitive person. Once I did, it helped me learn how to take care of myself so much better! Here are 30 signs you’re a highly sensitive person.
Have you ever been told that you’re too sensitive? Or maybe, too emotional?
Well, I was constantly told that my entire life.
But it turns out, it’s actually a certain type of person. It’s called HSP, or highly sensitive person.
Before I learned this, I thought that I was TOO sensitive. That my sensitivity was a bad thing. And that I felt emotions too much. That I needed to change.
However, now I’ve learned that it’s actually a gift to be so sensitive! I’m so much more aware of what’s going on around and inside of me than most other people.
It also makes your cognitive capacity greater!
For instance, HSPs are able to see many different scenarios for how a given situation could turn out. Then, they’re also able to have emotions about each of those scenarios.
