Hey guys! I’m so excited that 2020 is finally here. So, I wanted to share some powerful quotes to help you feel motivated to take on your goals! Here are some confidence quotes for the new year 2020.
One of my favorite things is goal setting. And January is the perfect time to start making plans to achieve your goals!
Although I’m not an advocate for setting TOO big of goals, I also like to challenge myself if there’s something I really want.
For example, when I was struggling with emotional eating, it was really hard to reach all my health goals. But since those goals were very important to me, I challenged myself to face the emotions that caused me to eat my feelings.
Honestly, it took a long time. And I needed motivation along the way. One of the things that helped me was reading positive quotes that inspired me.
So, here are a few that I think you’ll like and will hopefully inspire you too!
This has always been one of my fave quotes! I loved Little Women especially because I also have 4 girls in my family.
And I find this quote super powerful! As you challenge yourself to go after the things you want, you learn to trust yourself more. Also, there’s a sense of adventure in it that I find appealing.
Another good one, this is one I stumbled upon recently. Why I love it is because it’s true! You’re really and truly the only person on earth with your exact skill set and personality.
Honestly, it’ll always boggle my mind to imagine how there have been countless people throughout human existence, and still…we’re all originals.
So, don’t be afraid to share what you’ve got. We need it!
Ooooh yes! So, the reason why I chose this quote is because I’ve also found it to be true in my life.
Since I grew up in an emotionally abusive home, I always bottled up my emotions. But as I started allowing myself to feel, it was actually really scary for me.
I had never felt safe feeling my feelings, so I had very little self-trust.
However, as I slowly made friends with my feelings, I became safer with them. And I also started trusting myself more and more.
Now, I have a life I really love! And I know it’s only going to get better.
Honestly, I can really struggle with self-doubt sometimes. But guess what? So has everyone else. And that hasn’t stopped people from their greatness.
If you’re doubting yourself, just know that you’re capable. Even if you’re scared. Just keep trying and you’ll be successful.
Finally, a little love from Rumi, one of my favorite poets. Since I really struggle with this, I wanted to add this one in.
There have been so many times that I’ve stopped myself because I heard a story that things didn’t go well for someone else in the same circumstances.
But the worst pain are unfulfilled dreams. So let’s decide to go after what we want in 2020 regardless of other people’s stories. Let’s write our own, k?
What are you going to achieve in 2020? Tell me in the comments!
Love,
Holly
